暹邏啟示錄─泰實驗
SIAM APOCALYPSE
昨晚，曼谷發生爆炸，3人死亡。但就在同時，泰國人民最關心的，收視率最高的，卻是流行男歌手與電視女演員的緋聞續集。這使我想起唐‧麥凱樂的昨夜（1998），在電影中描述一群個性想法南轅北轍的人，如何面對世界末日。我覺得這部片子捕捉到的正是泰國現今的情緒。在2006年軍事政變後，泰國永遠的不一樣了。我們現在就像住在蝙蝠俠的高譚市，但沒有「黑暗騎士」來解救。歷史就要翻到下一頁，我們在頁面的邊緣滾動，不知如何是好。獨立電影導演與視覺藝術家被植入當下的痛，苦。有那麼多的實驗電影以直接的或抽象的方式處理這個命題。於是我策劃了暹邏啟示錄─泰實驗，有些是隱喻的、寓言的，有些是紀錄的，有些則是創作者自身揮之不去的記憶噩夢，在政治的動盪下。（ 策展人 : Graiwoot Chulphongsathorn ）
